Counsel was ineffective when he failed to investigate and/or then call Ms. Stewart's husband to testify. B). Counsel was ineffective when he asked the Petitioner to first give a statement to the police without any consideration, and then to testify, which only served to bolster the prosecutor's case and may have led to other evidence which appeared incriminating.
