Question Presented (AI Summary)

Whether the decision of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit conflicts with the decision of the D.C. Circuit on an important matter regarding Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure

Question Presented (OCR Extract)

QUESTION PRESENTED FOR REVIEW Whether the decision of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (“Fifth Cireuit”)-which held Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure had not been violated-conflicts with the decision of the D.C. Circuit, to wit, United States v. Lee, 888 F.3d 508 (D.C. Cir. 2018), on an important matter, and therefore decision by the Fifth Circuit calls for an exercise of this Court’s supervisory powers such that a compelling reason is presented in support of discretionary review by this Honorable Court.
