Question Presented (from Petition)

No question identified. : 1. Petitioner is a prisoner at Sterling Correctional Facility (SCF) a Colorado State Prison in Sterling, Colorado; 2. SCF is short of staff to include their law librarian, but was just hired, and is in training at this time. This person is not qualified to handle the work load, and has to get permission by telephone or e-mail from CDOC headquarters in Colorado Springs before accepting inmates requests, or even allowing copies of legal documents, which are censored by cDOC headquarters before allowing process; 3. Adding to the confusion, petitioner is not allowed timely access to the facility law library. Currently, SCF is on restricted movement (modified lock-down) for incoming closed custody inmates, which has thrown SCF into tremendous turmoil with hundreds of relocations of inmates moving in and out of SCF in order to develop a new closed custody unit; 4. Petitioner acknowledges that this Court's time limit of 90 days from the Order and Judgment by the Court of Appeals is May _10, 2023. Leaving the due date of August 10, 2023 for a Petition for a Writ of Certiorari; 5. This request for Extension of Time is not for the purpose of delay, but to create a single deadline by which petitioner receives proper documents, copies and service, which SCF law library cannot provided, petitioner is relaying on friends and family on the street for help; 6. The petitioner request an Extension of Time (60 days) including to October 8, 2023 to submit Petition for Writ of Certiorari. -2 Done this 3lst day of July, Two Thousand and Twenty Three.
