No question identified. : MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE BRIEF IN OPPOSITION TO PETITION FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI NOW COMES petitioner, Eugenie Henning, under Supreme Court Rule 13.5, and respectfully requests a sixty-day extension of time for filing a petition for a writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court of United States, such extension to include November 10, 2023. This application is submitted more than ten (10) days before the scheduled filing date for the petition, which is September 11, 2023. In support of this application, the petitioner, E. Henning shows the following: 1. This is a racial discrimination and retaliation case in which the petitioner plans to file in this Court a petition for a writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States, asking this Court to review the final judgment by the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. 2. The United States of Appeal for the Sixth Circuit affirmed the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee Eastern Division’s judgment. The appeal decision was filed on June 14, 2023. Eugenie Henning v. City of Jackson, TN, No. 22-5851, (2022). Copies of the June 14, 2023 opinion and judgment of the United States Court of Appeal and of the August 25, 2022 judgment in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee Eastern Division are attached to this application as Exhibits A, B, and C, respectively. The Exhibits will A not be mailed to the respondent’s counsel due to the exhibits/documents are currently in their possession. . Since the judgment of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit was entered on June 14, 2023, E. Henning’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari must be filed on or before September 11, 2023. . E. Henning has sought a Pro Bono counsel to no avail. . This sixty-day extension is fully justified and necessary. E. Henning will be representing herself, with little to no knowledge of the process, the additional time is necessary for E. Henning to study the facts, familiarize herself with the defendant’s responses, court rules, laws, research cases that will relate to this case, and prepare a thorough petition for a writ of certiorari for this Court’s review. . E. Henning has not requested any previous application for a motion for an extension of time to file a Writ of Certiorari. . Per Supreme Court Rule 29, I have mailed a copy of this request for an extension to the Clerk of this court and the respondent’s counsel. . This Motion is made in good faith and not for the purpose of delay. . E. Henning who is a Pro Se seeks additional time to ensure efficient coordination of a brief that addresses why the decision of the lower court should be reviewed and ensures strict compliance with the Rules of the Court. —— WHEREFORE, E.
