No question identified. : PETITIONERS' APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE A PETITION FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI To the Honorable Justice Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court and Circuit Justice for Eleventh Cirtcuit. The Petitioers Lorenzo M. Wilson and Jacquelyn H. Wilson request an extension of time to file their Petition for Writ of Certiorari. The Petitioners request a Fifty Day extension of time from January 11, 2024 to March 6, 2024. The order of the Alabama Supreme Court which is being appealed was entered Oct. 18, 2023 an is attached to this application. The jurisdiction of this Court to review the decision of the Alabama Supreme Court is invoke under 28 U.S.C. 1257. The Petitioners intend to raise an important First Amendment issue of whether averaages citizens have a right to a finding of fact and law by the trial court on motion to compel arbitration. The decision of the trial court's failure to make a finding of fact. or law and it being affirmed with no opinion by the Alabama Supreme violates the right to petition clause of the First Amendment. It is also contrary to common law of over a thousand years. The Petitioners seeks an extension of time to file their Writ of Certiorari because of difficulties in getting legal Counsel and or legal assistance to properly have their case evaluated and prepared due to the holiday season where many legal offices are closed or with minimum staff.
