Peter Paul Mitrano, et al. v. Cary Cucinelli
Whether the Supreme Court of Virginia violated the petitioners' constitutional due process rights by refusing to grant a petition for rehearing in a case involving potential procedural irregularities
No question identified. : The petitioners, Peter Paul Mitrano, pro se, and Stephanie Jean Kenaloha, pro se, respectfully request an extension of time of 60 days to file their Petition for Writ of Certiorari in the abovecaptioned action. The reason for the same is that the undersigned Peter Paul Mitrano, pro se, is a senior citizen in his mid-seventies presently working full time as a resident engineer for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida. Said work requires a substantial time commitment. The preparation of the Petition for Writ of Certiorari will require a substantial amount of time and collaboration between the petitioners. The petitioners have determined that it would be in the best interest of justice for this Supreme Court of the United States to review this action. The reason for the delay is that other work and legal matters have required a _ substantial amount of the undersigned Peter Paul Mitrano’s, time and effort. The petitioners apologize to this Supreme Court of the United States and opposing counsel for the delay in filing this application. This action involves important legal issues including but not limited to a complete denial of due process before the courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A copy of the denial of a petition for rehearing of the decision from the Supreme Court of Virginia, Mitrano v. Cucinelli, No. 230575 (January 31, 2024) is attached hereto.
