Whether a summary judgment record exceeding 3,800 pages warrants an extension of time to file a petition for a writ of certiorari
and contains a voluminous summary judgment record totaling 3,861 pages of material. 6. Petitioners have obtained the services of an appellate practitioner, Dennis Derrick, an attorney licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Connecticut, various federal district and appellate courts, to assist in the preparation of their petition for a writ of certiorari. Given the complexity of the issues and the volume of the summary judgment record, petitioners need additional time to prepare their petition for a writ of certiorari. Petitioners are requesting a 30-day extension of time to file their petition for a writ of certiorari. 7. Petitioners have consulted with counsel for respondents about this requested extension of time, and respondents have indicated that they have no objection to the requested extension of time. WHEREFORE, petitioners respectfully requests that the time to file a petition for a writ of certiorari in the above-captioned matter be extended 30 days to and including October 10, 2025. Dated this 28th day of August, 2025. Respectfully submitted, WILLIAMS LAW GROUP, LLC /s/ Ronald J. Waicukauski Ronald J. Waicukauski, Atty. No. 1089-53 Brad Aaron Catlin, Atty.
