APPLICATION TO EXTEND TIME TO FILE PETITION FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI To the Honorable Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States and Circuit Justice for the Eleventh Circuit: Petitioner Pamela McKethan, respectfully applies for a 60-day extension of time, to and including February 13, 2026, within which to file a petition for a writ of certiorari to review the judgment of the Supreme Court of Georgia, 1. Judgment Below The Supreme Court of Georgia denied Petitioner’s petition for writ of certiorari on August 26, 2025, and denied reconsideration on September 16, 2025. Copies of both orders are attached. 2. Jurisdiction This Court’s jurisdiction rests on 28 U.S.C. § 1257(a). Under Rule 13.1, the petition is currently due December 15, 2025. 3. Reason for the Requested Extension Good cause exists under Rule 13.5 to grant this application. Petitioner has recently experienced significant family emergencies and caregiving responsibilities, involving immediate family members, which have required Petitioner’s full attention. These circumstances have materially interfered with Petitionet’s ability to complete the petition by the current deadline. Petitioner is proceeding pro se and requires additional time to review the extensive statecourt record, research relevant federal questions, and prepare a petition that complies with Rules 14 and 33. This request is made in good faith and not for the purpose of delay. 4.
